I don't. I wash it, goop it and let it dry on its own (no blow dryer). After it's dry, I never, never, touch it.

I never put shampoo in it; I wash it with conditioner. I finger comb it in the shower to get the tangles out and that's the last time a comb or brush gets near my hair.

I scrunch the water out of my hair gently with a towel and then scrunch Ouidad's curle quencher moisturizing gel into my hair. If I need to, I separate some of the curls (the top layer always seems to want to stick together with the underneath layers). I dry some of the excess water out of it with a blow dryer set on the lowest setting while scrunching it to encourage the curls,but I never dry it all the way dry. I let it air dry the rest of the way.

In the evening, I put a little Potion 9 in it and let it air dry until I am ready for bed. I only brush it before I wash it - any other time I just finger comb it. The more I fuss with it the more it frizzes.

Sometimes I spritz a little water on it in the morning if my curls dried uneven. Frizz serums dry out my hair.
