Curly Hair From Hell?

Ok...i have major hair issues. Can anyone help me? My hair is like my avatars hair...except for one problem...FRIZZ!!! FRIZZ AND POOF!!!! -_- yes i put spray in it and stuff..and sure that works but then my hair is all hard and crunchy...o_O?

Also...does anyone know any cool curly hair styles? Im so sick of ponytails, and leaving it down...is there any fun style? or cool style for curly hair?

Curly Hair From Hell?

- Read the book and visit the sites below about curly hair. I did and my once horrible curly hair is now virtually frizz-free ringlets. Now I get compliments on my hair all the time! Straighten your hair- be happy for a day, learn to manage your curly hair- be happy for life!

- To style your hair using the curly-girl method you will need gel, a leave in cream, and conditioner at the minimum. Some less useful, but still nice stuff would be a blowdryer, a diffuser (reduces frizz in curly/wavy hair when used with dryer), and a microfiber hair turban (to dry wet hair while sleeping or in the morning).

-The main philosophy of the curly-girl method is to not use shampoo. This may sound unhygenic but it has actually made my hair less oily and dandruffy. Most shampoos contain some of the same chemicals found in laundry detergent (aka sodium laureth sulfate or anything close to that). They dry out curly hair. Also you shouldn't brush your curly hair dry because it damages the hair and makes it poof.

- Massaging of the scalp with conditioner to remove dirt is all that is needed. It will clean everything but super clingy silicones (cyclopentasiloxane and dimethicone are examples). Then rinse and spread conditioner on the outside layer of hair and the hair at the nape of your neck. Gently comb tangles out with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and rinse with cold/cool water.

- Do not brush/comb your hair after this point because it wil disturb the curl pattern (make sure you already have a part). It is also important to use gel on sopping wet hair and scrunch the hair with your fingers. Make sure gel is evenly distributed everywhere in your hair. If you use too much you can always scrunch out the crunchy texture later.

- Use paper towels or an old t-shirt to gently scrunch some of the water out (generic towels can make hair frizz). You can either let your hair air dry or wait ten minutes and then use a blowdryer with a diffuser. Dry until your hair is almost dry, and then let air dry the last bit. Do not touch the hair while it is air drying or it will frizz!

- Use a moisturizing conditioner, such as Desert Essence Organics Italian Red Grape Conditioner (found at health food/organic stores) or Activate Hydrating Conditioner (drugstore). The combo of products that I use daily is L'Oreal Out of Bed Weightless Texturizer (comes in a black-colored tub) and then Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Gel or Body Envy but there are more conditioners, gels, etc. on the websites. The products I recommended are my personal favorites and contain no silicones.

- "Strictly Curls" is a book about curly updos and such. Curly hair looks good long with LONG layers. I advise against thinning because it will make your ends ratty. I like to sweep hair back with 2 crisscrossed bobby pins after parting my hair to the side. I also like to wear my hair half up and leave out individual curls to frame my face.

- Your hair may seem worse at first, but it is just adjusting. This may take a couple weeks to begin working. Before you decide to quit shampoo, do a final cleanse with shampoo and stop the use of any products with silicones in them. Hope this helps!

Curly Hair From Hell?

I personally have the same problem. I use frizz ease curl defining spray. it doesn't leave it hard or crunchy. what also worked for me was mouse. I use a big clip in my hair most days I am working. pull it back like a pony tail but twirl it around and clip it up with the hair poofing out the top. My husband loves it lol.

Curly Hair From Hell?

Try a difuser - they work wonders. Also, if you have an Ion hair dryer, that cuts down on the frizziness too.

If you hair is poofing - get a hair cut. Your layers are out of wack which is causing the poof. Get your hair cut every 6-8 weeks and that will cut that down.

I would reccomend a curly shampoo, and then a leave in conditioner and product. Aveda make a good one, the name escapes me, but that cuts down on the frizz and the crunchiness.

Curly Hair From Hell?

Probably a wig would help, especially on those days when you can't be bothered.

Curly Hair From Hell?

I have the same kind of hair! I had it in a ponytail for YEARS because i couldnt stand the frizz and i hate that crunch curly look. I went to a curly hair salon (devachan) in new york and now i can wear it down every day... i love it!!! their products are really amazing but also a little expensive but worth it....

1. dont wash it every day, but definitely condition it every day

2. take some conditioner of their 'one condition' conditioner (or i guess you could try any conditioner thats not too thick) and put it in your hair after you've showered... and dont be afraid to use too much, especially at the ends and scrunch it up a little

3. use a blow drier with a diffuser or let it dry naturally

4. it WILL be hard when its dry but then, shake it out and scrunch it with your hands untill all that crunchiness is gone and voila! it will look beautiful and as frizz free as curly hair can be

good luck!!

What are the latest style for curly hair?

I wanted to get a hair style which has kinda side swept bangs....u know like which covers one eye...is it possible with curly hair?how do i instruct my hair dresser for that?

What are the latest style for curly hair?

I think you could but you woudl have to straighten the fringe part. (bangs)

Otherwise, it could get a bit out of control.

If you have a picture of it, definately take it in to show a hairdresser, or even two pictures if you can't find one exactly right.

Good luck! and you would definately need product. :]

What are the latest style for curly hair?

hello,

@ the moment, if you hasve naturally curly hair, your a lucky girl, Have you heard of the Jessica Simpson curls? Well because you have curly hair, let your hair dry naturally, spray a tiny bit of hairspray about 30 cm away from your hair, (dont use a spray that will make your hair stiff) Grab a really fat curling brush, the grab some hair from the back %26amp; put it over your shoulder, curl with the brush from the ear down, dont put to many curls or your hair will just look like a perm. do a couple at the front, %26amp; wahla, you have Jessica Simpson curls, if not sure what I am talking about, go to a hair salon and ask if they can blow dry your hair like Jessica Simpson, watch how they do it, %26amp; your laughing, I envy you as I have dead straight hair so its alot harder to do. I hope I have helped you.

I have curly hair, I'm a guy, any styles Idea?

I have brown curly hair that often I'm unable to do anything with. Usually at mid length I can comb it back, other then that I mostly cut it so short that I dont have to comb it at all (military/football cut). Other then that all I know it can do is make a good mullet. Or else grow really long really fast. Example before kindergarten started My hair grew from short down to my lower back over 4-6 monthes.

Anyways what other styling things can I do with curly hair? I want to do something different but dont know what. Mom and others likes my curly hair and I would like to do something different and keep it curly so that it will appease these people that like my curly hair. If I cant find any way to do that I'm going to try and get a straightener and start doing various styles after straightening (maybe even dying) my hair.

And yes I'm a dude so try to keep away from girlish hairstyles. I'm not feminine in any way, just looking to experiment with something different in terms of fashion.

even try a straightening iron or blow dry it out.

trust me i had really REALLY curly hair when i was a kid.

dont give up it works out in the end =)

I have curly hair, I'm a guy, any styles Idea?

I LOVE CURLY HAIR ON GUYS I THINK IT LOOKS BEST THOUGH WHEN IT IS NOT A BUZZ CUT OR ANYTHING A LITTLE LENGTH THEN JUST PUT SOME GEL IN IT SO ITS CUTE CURLY THAT AREN'T ALL FRIZZY OR ANYTHING

I have curly hair, I'm a guy, any styles Idea?

You can borrow a hair straightener from a girl. (the reason I said borrow is because you as a guy really wouldn't want to be caught with one of those) and try cutting it a bit long a the top and shaving it a bit short around the neck, then spike it out with some water and gel.

I have curly hair, I'm a guy, any styles Idea?

Cut it shorter so that the curls sit on your head. I have a guy friend with curly hair %26amp; it looks really nice.

Short hair styles - straight / wavy / curly?

My hair is about 5 inches past my shoulders atm...but I love experimenting with it, so thinking bout cutting it alot shorter....but since I don't think I could pull off a cute pixie cut...can anyone find me pics of shorter hairstyles (above shoulders but long enough to put in a small ponytail) and still look feminine? thanks alot :)

Btw if the cut would look good if it was straight, curly or wavy that would be good, but mainly I wear it straight...and I have an oval face shape if that helps.

Short hair styles - straight / wavy / curly?

I have never had short hair before but I think that if I did have short hair, wavy hair sounds the nicest coz you don't want it to be too curly when it's already going to be short, but I think it also depends on the way you look too coz some hair styles suit some people and not others. Perhaps also ask friends their opinions too. =)

take out the "do"

if your hair is long enough like that girl's

then get big rollers start from the bottom and only curl about half way up. mist them with water or hair spray and lightly blow heat on them. its even better if you start with your hair still damp and then let them dry and set like this...

once you think they are dry and/or set take the curlers out but then roll the curls back up (just the hair) and pin in place with bobby pins, apply hair spray and let it sit for a little while.

then take the pins out and let the hair fall naturally, for the messiness on the ends just comb through the ends a little with your fingers, dont forget to turn your head upside down and fluff a little and maybe give it a shot of hair spray then when you turn right side up dont flatten down at all, gravity will pull it into place

I have extremely curly hair. How do I make it into loose, Marilyn Monroe-style curly waves?

Hi! I have very tight, very thick shoulder-length curly hair (I'm ethnically Jewish).

I am going to a costume party and need 1950s-styled hair with Marilyn-Monroe type curly waves. (or wavy curls)

I have already tried:

A large-barrel curling iron

Blowing straight and then using the curling iron

Blowing straight and setting curlers while dry.

I've tried the above with various products, including a heat protector for curls by Go2b, two smoothing serums (one by John Frieda, I forget the other), non-aerosol hairspray from Aveda, aerosol hairspray from John Frieda, and Potion 9 from Sebastian.

None of these worked. My hair came out straight but fluffy every time.

I was going to try setting it in curlers while wet next time, but I only have a couple days till the party to experiment and get it right. I've also just blown about $100 on suggestions from friends that didn't work. Any ideas?

I have extremely curly hair. How do I make it into loose, Marilyn Monroe-style curly waves?

There is a product called FLat Out (i think it's by KMS, only at salons) that is fantastic. My sister has VERY curly hair (i ended up with boring straight) and we have used this on her. Both the shampoo and the taming serum. she washed conditioned, and then we blow dried it very very straight, flat ironed it and then added a anti-friz serum. After about an hour of it setting straight, we rolled it in large rollers and sprayed a setting spray. About 4 hours later, we unrolled, frizz eased again and it looked FAB!!! Good Luck!

I have extremely curly hair. How do I make it into loose, Marilyn Monroe-style curly waves?

I know what you mean. Taming curly hair can be trouble. Why don't you go to a salon that specializes in curly hair in your area?

I have extremely curly hair. How do I make it into loose, Marilyn Monroe-style curly waves?

how about going to a salon and getting a relaxer?

I have extremely curly hair. How do I make it into loose, Marilyn Monroe-style curly waves?

Sounds like your hair is like my daughters, If you was black it would be an afro. This is what i do with hers, first wash and use a very heavy conditioner, then apply a smoothing serum )Citre' Shine is a good one) and gel ( I like Loreal straightening line) and blow dry straight. If you have a flat iron, apply a little more of the serum to dry hair and run the flat iron over it until it is smooth, No flat iron? No problem, use the large barreled curling iron in its place, instead of curling just run the iron down the hair to smooth it. After you have smoothed it down, you can then use the large iron to give yourself large curls. Or you can do the hot rollers. Good luck and hope this helps!

I have extremely curly hair. How do I make it into loose, Marilyn Monroe-style curly waves?

Set your hair on very large rollers with bed head afterparty, and uptight this should smooth hair keep it from getting poofy and give you a nice sleek look

I have extremely curly hair. How do I make it into loose, Marilyn Monroe-style curly waves?

My daughter suffers from the same hair type. As a mom I have spent several hundred dollars on hair products that just end up making her look fluffy. If you are trying to contain your cost at this point a wig may be your best bet. If you truly want to do the style with your own hair you will have to purchase a professional straightening iron, commercial ones do not get hot enough, and then set your style once it is straight. Just know that if there is any and I do mean any humidity in the air all the work will be for naught and it will be fluffy once again.

I have extremely curly hair. How do I make it into loose, Marilyn Monroe-style curly waves?

The wet set is probably your best bet. Use setting lotion. You can get it from Sally Beauty Supply for under 10 bucks.

Wash and condition your hair, spritz the setting lotion all over, set rollers the way you want them, allow to dry. Don't use a hair dryer, if you have a bonnet dryer or can get one, it will make the drying process a lot faster. If you want to try sleeping in them to ensure it's dry, wrap your head in a silk scarf before your sleep. After your hair's completely dry, remove the curlers carefully, lightly comb into place with a wide toothed comb, and spray with a good flexible hold hair spray. That should work.

I have extremely curly hair. How do I make it into loose, Marilyn Monroe-style curly waves?

Wet it/wash it, set it on big rollers (like 2-3" diameter) -use some smoothing serum on each section of hair you roll up. Then either let air dry, or dry with a blow dryer aiming air downards on ur hair(upwards will make it poof off the rollers) and then let it set on the rollers for about another 30mins., or (best way)if you have access to a bonnet hair dryer the kind that hang over your head like at the beauty shop -use that and stay under it for a good 35-40 mins. When you take the rollers out do not comb through your hair. Use a brush to style top of your hair then run fingers through bottom of hair or lightly pick out to seperate %26amp; style curls. If you comb it it will probably turn into an afro! And make sure to use rollers that are big but not so big that all you get it waves. Good luck! and use some hair spray when done styling.

im looking for a sexy curly hair style to go out to the bars for my friends 21st. i decided im going to curl it, thanks to everyone who answered my previous question! =] but i would like to see some examples, would putting part half up and leave the rest half down look too dressy?? any pictures would be great!

What kind of a hair style suits best for curly short shoulder level hair?

That depends on a number of factors.

How old you are, what the shape of your face is, etc.

Usually anything that shows off your face is good so try tying it back or using a headband.

What kind of a hair style suits best for curly short shoulder level hair?

just puff you're hair in to a big Afro... be unik... be spacial... 70' hair rules!!!

What kind of a hair style suits best for curly short shoulder level hair?

I have the same- shoulder length, curly hair. Usually anything with layers is good. I prefer inverted (asymmetrical) bobs, but it looks good with a few side-swept shaggy bangs and lots of layers, too. It depends on your style. Just don't get a straight across cut- it gives you triangle head.

I need new hair styles?

I have very curly short hair. My hair is just at my shoulder and I have a straightner and curling iron. The only thing is is that my hair has horrible layers that you can't fix.(I didn't do it myself) Oh, I also have side bangs

I need new hair styles?

Try using your curling iron to create a flipped effect. Since you already have layered hair it will look like you went to a salon. Go for that Farrah Fawcett look and you'll love it.

My daughter's hair is curly underneath but straight on top. What hair style will work?

If your daugher's hair is straight on top, I'd suggest getting a diffuser to attach onto a blowdryer, that will solve your problem. And get some mousse/gel to put in her hair, make sure it's wet, and then blowdry with diffuser.

For African Am...Is hair locking gel permanent???

I have natural african american kinky hair. I bought locking gel hoping that it would allow my twists to stay in longer before they have to be redone (i also take the twists/braids out to get a curly hair style). Would it make the twists/curles permanent or physically and/or chemically alter my hair and turn it into dreads??? (the most I'd plan to keep them in is 1 week max...i like to wash my hair at least once a week.)

For African Am...Is hair locking gel permanent???

no it doesnt even get that hard!!!!!!! You will be fine trust me!

For African Am...Is hair locking gel permanent???

first of all, dreads do not chemically alter your hair. now, the answer to your question is no. the locking gel is just like any other gel. it will hold your hair how it is, but if you wash it out, your hair goes back to it's pre-gelled condition. the only thing different about locking gell is that it's flake-free and i think it's gentler and doesn't dry your hair as much.

For African Am...Is hair locking gel permanent???

I think it will lock in your twist to dreads.*WARNING* the gel will mae your hair tight and may cause your hair to breack off.

For African Am...Is hair locking gel permanent???

No, dreads take months to form so leaving twists in for a week with dread gel is perfectly fine, especially if your washing it out. Just be sure to keep your twists moisturized so its easier to wash out the gel when its time for you to shampoo.

Mi hair is realli curly. lyk realli curly, ii want hair styles 4 it! plzz!?

These are so cute, I would get you pics but I can't so...I'll just explain:

1) Cornrowed side ponytai

Rub a nickel-sized amount of shine serium onto you rhands and run your fingers through your hair while its wet. Use a wide-toothed comb to evenly distribute it throughout your hair. When your hair becomes curly again, try not to touch it as much as possible.

On your left side of your hair, begin a cornrow (a reverse French braid). If you don't know how, just braid it normally. Follow your hairline and keep braiding down the right side of your head (so it should go from your left side to your right side, up and over your head if you're doing a cornrow. If just a regular braid, just start on whatever side you want and just braid downwards - don't go up and over to the other side). Secure your braid with an elastic band. You can do two braids if you want, one right behind the other.

Once you've done that, gather your hair and brush it into a low ponytail (side ponytails look cuter). Secure your braid(s) with a clip (fancy or bobby pin, whichever looks best). Securing works for both cornrows or regular braids.

Mi hair is realli curly. lyk realli curly, ii want hair styles 4 it! plzz!?

What is the best way to style curly hair for men to prevent hair loss?

I have quite thick curly black hair and over the past year I've noticed it getting a little thinner around the front and back. This is mostly apparent when I wear my hair down (like Tom Welling), however when I've kept it up (which looks something like an afro) i've noticed less hair loss.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for curly hair?

That actually provides curl definition and really eliminates frizz and adds shine and miosture. I'm tired of buying into those stupid comercials which garuntee to tame frizz and add curl definition, but when you buy it, it turns out it was a complete waste of money. I want less frizz and more definition so I could actually do different styles with my hair or for once just let it down instead of putting it up in a stupid ponytail. I have long curly hair that is a moderatly thick and tends to become extrmemly frizzy when dry and lacks luster and definiton when dry, and has a few fly aways. Please give me a good answer.^-^

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for curly hair?

Hmmm honestly I think this question depends on a lot of factors...Such as your race (ethnic hair needs different things), the wheather, and the type of hair texture you have. There is lots and LOTS of different types of curly.... Also I think finding the perfect shampoo and conditioner is one of those things you gotta trial and error.... Stay away from Sodium Laureth(el) sulfate it makes lovely bubbles and foam but it drys your hair out quick as a flash. Also the "heaviness" of conditioners can impact how your hair "acts". Heavier conditioner uis good for the winter and lighter for the summer. and make sure you read the ingrediants label. Biotin, Vitamin E, and such are really good. Oh and you might want to think about the type of products you use "After" you wash. I like carrot oil and avocado/shea butter detangler in the summer, while the really thick shea butter and olive oil are best in the winter. It's all a matter of trail and error. Really.

I 'm african american and I have really curly hair. I wasted a LOT of money on crappy shampoos and conditioners until I educated myself about it. I'm sorry I can't give you a name or a brand but I hope I gave you enough info that you find something that'll work for you. Good luck and keep the curls alive!

Curly Hair.......!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I have naturally curly hair as well, and it took me forever to figure this out. here's what you do.

Go to a salon and get TIGI's Curls Rock Curl Amplifier.

Then go to CVS /a drugstore, and get Frizz Ease serum Extreme (in the purple bottle) and Sunsilk's Anti Poof Shampoo and Conditions and Sunsilks 24/7 Cream for both Anti-Poof and Defrizz (blue and green bottles.). Also, you can get hot oil, Alberto VO5 moisturizing and do this once a week for shinier hair.

Before entering the shower, heat up water in a microwave for 2 minutes, or until boiling. Then drop one of the hot oils in the boiling water. Leave it in there for about 2 minutes. Enter the shower and wet your hair. Open the hot oil and comb it through your hair. Leave in for one minute, then rinse out. Shampoo your hair, and rinse. Then comb about two quarter sized amounts of the conditioner into your hair, and leave in for about 4 to 5 minutes to moisturize. Then rinse the conditioner out with COLD water, which seals the cuticle of you hair, resulting in shine. After rinsing, turn the shower off, and squeeze your hair dry. Don't towel dry, cause it will cause excess frizz. Pump about 2 quarter sized amounts of Frizz Ease into your hand and comb it in from root to tip. Make sure you get to the back. Squeeze the water from your hair again. Fill your hand with equal parts of each type of Sunsilk, and comb it through your hair once again, focusing on the areas that tend to poof or frizz the most. Squeeze the excess water from your hair once again. Next, pump three squirts of Curls Rock Amplifier into your hand, and scrunch in throughout your hair. Once done, let your hair airdry. You can stick a towel between your hair and your clothes to prevent your clothes from getting wet. Never towel dry though. As it dries, if you find your hair frizzing, then use sunsilk defrizz to correct this. Try not to lie down during the drying, because it might squash the curls. You should have shiny frizz free curls once finished. If you want added spirals, get Redken Ringlet Cream and Garnier Fructis Hard Curl Pomade and a curling iron to add the spirals, but I find that my hair turns out great without an iron.

I guarantee this works for me. If you want something to straighten your hair, get Redkin Smooth Down Line. It works great. Hai irons work great, and I found one for $65 on ebay for you.

I have naturally curly hair and would love ideas on new hair styles that would work with my curls?

HI! I have had curly, frizzy, hair for years and I have learned to work with it. When I go to the salon I get my hair razor thined and i usually keep it short because it your hair is thick it tends to be alot to handle. If you want some cute styels for everday try i usually wear it down or I just take bobbie pins and pieces of hair and just put the anywear in my hair and it look great. If you need a fancy styel just put your hair in a ponytail and rinestones to it and you will sparkle and shine! Good Luck any other questions emailme @ dragonflygurl_32@yahoo.com

I have really curly brown hair with blue highlights that reaches just past my shoulders when straigh

I need help deciding what kind of hair cut I should get. I like fun hair styles and I do want to cut a bit off. Please don't tell me to keep it long because it gives me headaches (the hair not you). Please provide pictures or links if you can. Scene or emo hair is okay, but so is fun bobs or more conservative cuts. Please and thank you! Best answer gets ten points!

I have really curly brown hair with blue highlights that reaches just past my shoulders when straightened?

I would cut your hair just above your shoulders and tapper your bangs. Tapered bangs are really hot right now! Get lots of layers! Anyway, if your hair is right abouve your shoulders you can still cut some off but you can still style is however ya want.

How do I get straight hair?

I have normal african american male hair, and all i'm looking for is a something that will make my hair permantley straight AND soft. I know as my hair grows, it'll grow nappy but I need methods (home methods) that I can do to make it straight and soft so I can spike it, and have options of hairstyles with it, if possible are there any products or methods I could use to get the "loose curly hair style" like you see mixed or even white people with? Instead of super tight curly hair like now.

PS don't get me wrong I love my hair, it's just time for a change I think.

I want my hair to be able to get "wet" when i take showers and stuff like that

any suggestions, best answer = 10 points, peace.

How do I get straight hair?

go to a salon and get it permanently straightened and if it's still a little wavy use herbal essences pin straight (pink bottle) shampoo and straighten it!!

How do I get straight hair?

How do I get straight hair?

How do I get straight hair?

How do I get straight hair?

Ok first u buy a flat iron,or u can go to the haIr salon and ask to get yopur hair permanently straightened

How do I get straight hair?

you no what u should do buy a stratener thats wat they are for to straiten your hair or go to the salon and get a permanent straight perm thats my suggestion

Okay, If I get my hair totally straightened will it go back to normal.?

Okay, I'm a guy and I have short curly hair. Like, tons of tiny beady curls, like brillowpad or something. And I want to straighten it and have sort of long hair completley straightened. In order to do this I'd have to grow my hair into an afro and then have a perm. What I want to know is if it will go back to the normal curly beady style in a few years when I'm an adult and the long hair style isn't appealing,

Okay, If I get my hair totally straightened will it go back to normal.?

This is a problem lots of guys with curly hair have. Growing your hair out kind of long and getting a perm is kind of one way of doing it but it certainly is not the best. Try getting a chemical relaxing done (it's like a perm only backwards) or if it's medium length you can use a straitening iron (usually kind of silly results but many people like the look)

The chemical relaxer and/or perm will not affect hair that has not grown above the scalp (obviously) so though it is the most permanent solution it is by no means permanent. Also, the state of "straight-ness" of your hair will go back to normal-ish after several months (you'll probably have a hair cut before that happens) so it is a process that will have to be repeated within months, not years.

Okay, If I get my hair totally straightened will it go back to normal.?

yeah, most perms last max. 10-12 months.

Okay, If I get my hair totally straightened will it go back to normal.?

With the japanese hair strightening it will not. I do that, but I noticed that with my hair it goes a bit wavy. As it grows out all the new hair will be curly. So straightening gets expensive.

Okay, If I get my hair totally straightened will it go back to normal.?

Your regrowth will for sure go back to it's natural curl and you don't have to wait for year, in three weeks you will see it right away ( that's your regrowth). So not to worry if you will only do it once.

What is the style of hair where women had big curly hair and what era is it from...?

You know like the chick in ghost busters... Kinda poofy...

What is the style of hair where women had big curly hair and what era is it from...?

You're thinking of 80's hair. In the 80's, "big" hair was in. Everyone had perms and used a lot of hairspray and teased their hair to make it biger.

What is the style of hair where women had big curly hair and what era is it from...?

Yep, DEFINATELY 80's.

I love that look when it's toned down.

My friend always laughs with me about it, we call it "big sexy hair".

So fun :)

Anyway to get it you just blowdry your hair and put a little volume serum towards the roots.

Shine serum also looks great with that look, but make sure it doesn't get greasy.

What is the style of hair where women had big curly hair and what era is it from...?

80's... People used to laugh at me because my hair, at one time, truly was as high and as big as it was long... and it was really really long!

I kept Aquanet in business single handily...

Anyone have any cute styles for curly hair?

I always wear my hair down, and it gets boring sometimes...

Anyone have any cute styles for curly hair?

what i do is use a cip to clip back the first layer of m,y hair and leave the rest down and curly... hope i helped! :D

Anyone have any cute styles for curly hair?

Push all your hair up into a pile on top of your head, and clip it in place. It looks really cute and romantic.

Or, try pigtails, one on each side of your head.

Anyone have any cute styles for curly hair?

put yor hair up with a clip. when my hair was curly I put it up this way and whenever I did there was cameras pointed toward me and flashes everywhere.

Anyone have any cute styles for curly hair?

i agree with the first answer i do that ALOT, another thing i do is put my hair up into a medium ponytail then twist it and secure it towards the of the ends of my hair with one of those big claw clips then you can arrange it at the top so you can see the tops of your curls...looks really cute, then if you want it to look more formal you can take a part of your bangs out of your ponytail and curl it so it's hanging down the side of your face...your hair will look great!

Anyone have any cute styles for curly hair?

Try an updo with a clip and leave a few curls hanging on each side of your face. That's what I do to mine when I don't straighten it.

Anyone know of good curly hair styling products......?

Here's my dilema. I have naturally curly hair. For the past year I have been blowing my hair straight and have recently wanted to start wearing it curly again. It has lost a little bit of its curly although I think this is temporary. In the past I have used products such as paul mitchel's styling foam and loved it but want to see if there is something more updated. I want my curls to be light and controlled not stick hard, and weighed down so I do not particularly like using gel. Any suggestions of products I can use to achieve my desired look?? In addition to this I am wanting my hair to grow as quickly and as healthy as possibly by next year. Are there any vitamins and/or products out there to help this??

Anyone know of good curly hair styling products......?

Ouidad. I use it and it works very well in keeping my curls defined, soft, and moisturized. It's made especially for people with curly hair so it should work wonders for you.

Anyone know of good curly hair styling products......?

Don't dye or iron your hair. Leave it as it is.

Anyone know of good curly hair styling products......?

The VO5 red can of curly hair mousse is great for putting on wet hair and then scrunching. I usually finish it off with frizz ease syrum.

Anyone know of good curly hair styling products......?

You could try the Curls Rock line from Catwalk. Allot of my clients love it. The curl amplifier is good for a controlled curl w/o getting hard and crunchy.

Anyone know of good curly hair styling products......?

I can either wear my hair straight (with work of a hair dryer and iron) or curly and the best product that I have found is by Matrix. The product is Matrix Biolage Curl Defining Cr鐚玬e. It does not make my hair sticky or weighed down. If you are in the U.S. you can purchase it at Ulta. Hope this helps.

Anyone know of good curly hair styling products......?

Lakme hair next - use the straight one if you want straight hair , or else go for bouncy hair .. product of lakme hair next shampoo.

Anyone know of good curly hair styling products......?

Anything by the brands: FX, got2b, TIGI, samy, and L'Oreal work well. Make sure you use a diffuser when you dry your hair! The curls will appear much lighter and less frizzy than if you blow dry them w/o a diffuser or even air-drying.

Anyone know of good curly hair styling products......?

Try using Aveda's Be Curly curl lotion. If used correctly it can restore your curls as well as tame frizzes. There is also a website just for people with curly hair www.naturallycurly.com. They have some helpful tips on curly hair care.

Anyone know of good curly hair styling products......?

I worked in a hair salon owned by two curly hair specialists. They always used ISO Tamer Foam in curly hair. It was like a mousse. You put it in your hair when it's wet and let it dry naturally. When it's dry you'll have your curls, they will be a little stiff, but the product is mainly designed for frizz so when your curls are all dry finger comb your hair and you will have soft natural curls. This product can also be used to help straighten your hair, put it in wet and then blow dry, and it helps keep the frizz away when it's straight.

You can find it in salons that specialize in curly hair and you can also find it in a beauty product distribution store. It's About $11, depending on where you go.

Does anyone have some good styling tips for curly hair?

Hi there, I am only guessing that your hair is naturally curly,,, I do too, if so, see if this works.

After washing, before you do anything else use a good hair wax, (particularly when the weather is humid-FRIZZ?!!)after applying the hair wax (if you can get it, Palmer's soft wax is excellent! smells really good too.) Style it how you like,( with a good strong wax type of preparation, you should have no problems with nasty greasy, dull hair), then let it dry naturally.... It really is the best way, hair-dryers can be a little too drying=FRIZZ!!

Of course it depends on your present cut and if you are happy with it,,, I always have a job with mine as it is thick and,,, I guess you could say voluminous!!? The hairdressers go really silly with it and I usually have to leave them under cover of darkness, looking vaguely like Madge Simpson, slinking home to shove my head under the tap to make it live-able again!!

Mostly just recommend letting it dry naturally, it will look lovely :)

The natural look will always suit...

Even if your hair is permed, I have it from good friends just to do as little as poss, the cut is more important.

Hoping this is of some use to you.

Does anyone have some good styling tips for curly hair?

Cut it all the same length and just let it do its thing.... that's what I do.

Does anyone have some good styling tips for curly hair?

i have curly hair too and i straighten mine a lot but on some days ya just gotta go curly. what i do is: when your in the shower make sure your using shampoos and conditioners made especially for curly hair then when you get out of the shower when your hair is still wet, not dripping though, run a leave in conditioner in your hair i love garnier leave-in-conditioner. then brush your hair let dry for a couple of minutes then apply some moose for curly hair add some hair spray and scrunch, you can also use a diffuser to dry your hair.

Does anyone have some good styling tips for curly hair?

I too have naturally curly hair and it took me the better part of 27 years to figure out what to do with it. In the shower I use a curl shampoo and conditioner to help fight frizz. After getting out of the shower, I wrap it in a towel while I do my makeup (15 Mins). Then I spray in leave in conditioner no waxes or gels they weigh hair down and make it look greasy. Next comes Mousse it is light and fluffy but helps to control the frizz. I use a diffuser to dry because letting it air dry usually leaves it flat. I have shorter bands that I "straighten" but love the layers I have in my hair. They give it added dimentions and depth. Then I just spritz with some hairspray and go. It sounds like a lot of work but it only takes me about 20 minutes.

Long curly hair style needed?

My daughter has long wavy/curly hair that she ALWAYS pulls back into a ponytail, and refuses to have bangs. I think it makes her forehead look big, but don't want to tell her that and can't get her to change the style. I've suggested that she cut it short, but she says she likes the ponytail. She also has a lot of hair so we are always buying new ponytail holders to replace the broken ones.

Any suggestions?

Long curly hair style needed?

You could have it cut into long layers so that it will be lighter and less hair to deal with. Have the stylist cut the shortest layer long enough to put up into a pony tail. She can straighten it, part it, scrunch it or do it half up. I use a product by Garnier Fructis called leave in cream conditioner curl and shine. I just put it in while my hair is still wet and let it dry on its own and thats about all I do to it. I do have bangs because I have a big forehead and some days I wish I didn't have them (I've grown them out but, either it dosen't look good or; I am not used to it). I do have to style them always I wish I could wear them sort of swooped over my forehead and and pinned down but my BANGS are too short.

Long curly hair style needed?

thats a hard one to answer. don't know for sure.

Long curly hair style needed?

Try straightening it. It makes it thinner and silkier. Easy to be put in a ponytail too, or do other things with it, like pin it back, or put it up.

Long curly hair style needed?

Read tips and articles on hair and hair styles on this site

Long curly hair style needed?

Long curly hair style needed?

have her scrunch her hair, i alwaqys have mine in a ponytail so u cn scrunch it and leave it down half up-half down...and still cute...parted to the side

Long curly hair style needed?

Let her make her own decisions about her hair. If you don't like how it looks, that's not fair. If she's happy with it let it be. She has to become comfortable with her own style, etc.

Maybe she can pull just the top part of her hair into a ponytail and have the rest hang down.

Long curly hair style needed?

You did not say how old she was... long hair pulled back into a ponytail is ok for an older woman even if she is your daughter but for a young girl.. long hair.. pulled back.. ponytail.. without bangs or SOMETHING RESEMBLING BANGS is not really a KOOL style

If she does not want to change, there is really not much you can do.

Back again... YOu might want to go to this URL site and when you do.. click on the MORE styles to see even more hair styles.

Long curly hair style needed?

Let some portion of curly hair fall on the forehead. This way she will look better and her forehead will also not look bigger.

Long curly hair style needed?

i would recommend growing bangs and then putting them off to the side after straightening them. it looks great.

Long curly hair style needed?

Show her pictures of celebrities in magazines. Maybe she'll like one and like to change her style. Tell her that she will look really pretty if she wears a headband (with bangs headbans look amazing). And tell her that if she doesn't like the bangs, they're hair, they will grow back, and in the mean time, the can wear bobby pins or clips with her ponytail if nothing else works...

Hope it helps, and good luck! =)

Long curly hair style needed?

just be honest with her and tell her that it makes her fore head big

Long curly hair style needed?

i have really curly hair and up until a few years ago i would always tie it back. it wasn't until i was about 16 that i started wearing it out. there is no need to cut it short but just make sure that you put product in it and maybe add some layers so that the hair doesn't sit flat on top of the head. it's just a matter of time until she starts to wear it out. and if she still pulls it back try getting her to put her part on the side (not in the middle) it helps for the forehead thing

Long curly hair style needed?

I would suggest that you get her to trim 2-3 inches off initially, and perhaps have it thinned a little so her hair is less thick where the ponytail band is at. Not only will it take some of the weight off her head, is good for her hair, and makes it look neater, it will also help with breaking of the hair ties less because her ponytail will have less girth.

Sounds as if your daughter has her mind made up, so you will have to have her hair trimmed frequently. Be glad she keeps it in a pony tail instead of wildly unkept (I have a niece that did that forever....and it looked REALLY bad!). Eventually she may become a little more receptive, but for now you will have to satisfy yourself with getting her hair trimmed regularly. Once she gets used to the trims and how nice her head feels with a little less weight, she wont be so unreceptive to getting her hair cut later.

I think taking small steps with her in this case is really the way to go, so she has time to get used to having her hair a little shorter just from a simple trim.

What are some cute things I can do with my curly/wavy hair?

I have side bangs. They aren't the layered kind really, they just kind of are shorter then the rest of my hair.

My hair is curly/wavy and it's a light brownish color with gold highlights. Its up to my shoulder [its actually like 4 inches past when its straight.]

but i can't straighten it because it is thin and delicate so it gets damaged too easily. I usually just leave it natural and straighten my sidebangs. Iv;e worn it like this all year though! I'm getting so tired of. What are some cute things I can do with my hair? Cuts, styles, dye, ect? Thanks!

[p.s I have a heart shaped face. Please don't tell me you need a picture. I'm not putting one up for safety reasons. If you want to recommend dye, to help you out i have medium-pale skin and brown eyes.]

What are some cute things I can do with my curly/wavy hair?

Pin your front bangs back and curl some of the sides again , i know its natural curls but if you re-curl it then it looks nicer .

I usually straighten mine for different up looks too! Since you dont want damage , you could always buy a smoother shampoo + conditioner i reccomend ' sleek - look ' .

mine the same, but i dye it red. ummm. if you have bangs then straighten them, then I put like a small part of the top in a small poof. then blow dry my hair curly... I think its cute. maybe it'll work for you.

Curly hair styling tips?

i have SUUUUPPPERDUUUPER curly dark brown hair too.

first, you probably wanna grow out your layers...

you can take a little hair from behind your ears on each side, twist them loosely, and clip them toether on top, with a sparkly clip or a glittery barette. glitter looks good.

Simple, classy 'up' styles for curly hair?

I need to have my hair tied back for work, but when I put it in a basic ponytail it looks kind of boring. It's quite long, side parted, with a loose curl, and I have an oval-shaped face. Can anyone suggest a smart style that won't take ages to do? Thanks! x

Simple, classy 'up' styles for curly hair?

why not try a messy bun or when you do a ponytail just pull half of the hair through and flick the ends out looks nicer than it sounds

Simple, classy 'up' styles for curly hair?

do a poof in your hair and then put it in a ponytail.

Simple, classy 'up' styles for curly hair?

you could try the pony tail in different positions - higher or lower, or to the side (if your parting is left to right have it on the right side, or vice versa)

buns are simple to do, but can look really pretty, and you could leave a few curls down the side of your face (unless you need all your hair tied back)

another possibility is to buy a large clip, and then gather hair into low ponytail, twist and hold up the back of your head and then clip into place.

Good Luck x

I have really really curly medium length style hair. but i dont know how to style it.?

i put it in pigtails everyday. which is pretty lame. i want to style it different. but i want it to be cute. any suggestions?

I have really really curly medium length style hair. but i dont know how to style it.?

straighten it.

I have really really curly medium length style hair. but i dont know how to style it.?

french braid? or put it back with a cute barrette. Also headbands are pretty hott right now.

I have really really curly medium length style hair. but i dont know how to style it.?

I have the same kind of hair as you and I either wear it up or I style it down. All I have to do when I wear it down is put a bunch of mouse in it, blow dry it if you feel like it, and then hair spray on top. I do this quite often but if you don't feel like blow drying it, then you can let it air dry and the curls are not as tight.

I have really really curly medium length style hair. but i dont know how to style it.?

put half your hair up and use a pretty decoration on the back or do a side ponytail!

I have really really curly medium length style hair. but i dont know how to style it.?

let it down.

put coconut oil in it or whatever to get that wet look

or maybe try putting a sideway ponytail in.

I have really really curly medium length style hair. but i dont know how to style it.?

I went through the first 45 years of life asking the same question. I thought I died and went to heaven when I found a straightening iron. Get one that is at least 2-3 inches wide. Practice. I think you will love it. Also, get a professional haircut.

I have really really curly medium length style hair. but i dont know how to style it.?

curly hair needs a specialist to work with it. you also need to use good products and get a diffuser for your blow dryer.

I have really really curly medium length style hair. but i dont know how to style it.?

A good cut is EVERYTHING! Depending on your stature and face shape, a good stylist will give you a cut you can work with and will be happy to give you tips for different ways of wearing it. Relaxants go a long way. If you don't already have a defuser for your hair dryer, get one. The less you fuss with the curl the better it tends to look.

I have really really curly medium length style hair. but i dont know how to style it.?

You can do your hair half up and half down. You can try doing two french braids. You can also have two pigtails half up.

What are some good styling products for curly hair?

Shampoo and conditioner. Preferably inexpensive!

What are some good styling products for curly hair?

try sunsilks range designed specifically 4 different hair types eg. straight and smooth/volumised/curly/..

http://www.sunsilk.com/

What are some good styling products for curly hair?

Mixed Chicks products are a "must try". After you shampoo and condition, you can apply their leave-in conditioner while wet and air dry... That is it. If you watch American Idol, the girl with curly hair (so says the hollywood rumor mill)... the skinny mixed, black and latin-looking girl wears it now. It really will define your curls and cut frizz. You can order on the net.

What are some good styling products for curly hair?

Definitely John Freida's Frizz Ease hair serum to define curls. You put it in your hair while it's still wet, and it makes your hair a lot softer too. I just started to use the Curls Rock system, it is a salon product but they sometimes have specials such as buy 1 get 1 free, and I also got two huge bottles (1 shampoo, 1 conditioner) for $20 which is pretty good. Definitely better than buying cheaper products that don't work lol.

Short hair styles?

i have naturally very wavy hair. i have a graduated bob, which is what rhianna, jessica simpson, and victoria beckham all have. it looks great with curly hair, and even better when i flat iron it. its a funky fresh style that is really in right now. it looks really good with side swept bangs as well.

Strange Wavy Hair...?

When I was little I always had super straight hair but just this past year my hair started to turn wavy. I like how it looks down but it looks a little crazy withought product in it and frizzy etc. So my question is... Does anyone know a product that will tame my waves and make them look soft? I don't have curly hair. And I don't like the stiff curly hair style or the style where people w/ straight hair try to make it wavy by loading up a bunch of gel in it and scrunhing it so it stick out and just looks weird (no offense but that's not my kind of hair) making if stick out all over. So please don't suggest a product that will make it look like that. Just something that will give me soft waves and that I can sleep with in my hair, brush my hair and wear it to school the next day since I shower at night. Thanks

Strange Wavy Hair...?

My hair is very curly, but I make my curls soft with Biolage. I use their shampoo and conditioner. It's pretty expensive [like 15-20 bucks a bottle], and when I rinse my hair, I don't rinse it very well. Leave some conditioner in it. Don't blow dry it. If you do, put some gel or styling mousse in it. When you wake up in the morning it's going to look perfect. Just touch it up with your wet palms. Good luck!

Strange Wavy Hair...?

Try one of those frizz-ease products or a hair gloss/shiner they sell it at Sally Beauty Supply... It works for me. :)

Strange Wavy Hair...?

Try the invisible pantene moose. Its moose but it doesnt leave you hair hard. It leaves your hair natural but keeps it in place

http://www.pantene.com/en_US/products/co...

Strange Wavy Hair...?

maybe a hot oil treatment would soften this hair ask a beautician and if you dont trust folks very well then ask several my wife is a licensed beautician and she tells folks to use the hot oil treatment

Strange Wavy Hair...?

maybe just try a conditioner or moisturizer

Strange Wavy Hair...?

omg i have the same problem and im looking for a answer i would personaly say dove theropy makes your hair feel great

How do you style your naturally curly hair ?

I don't. I wash it, goop it and let it dry on its own (no blow dryer). After it's dry, I never, never, touch it.

How do you style your naturally curly hair ?

I usually just put hair spray in it and go.

How do you style your naturally curly hair ?

Try www.missjessies.com. Hope this'll help.

How do you style your naturally curly hair ?

I usually straighten mine

but when I don't I put a little mousse in and dry my hair with a hair dryer with a defuser on the end

How do you style your naturally curly hair ?

I never put shampoo in it; I wash it with conditioner. I finger comb it in the shower to get the tangles out and that's the last time a comb or brush gets near my hair.

I scrunch the water out of my hair gently with a towel and then scrunch Ouidad's curle quencher moisturizing gel into my hair. If I need to, I separate some of the curls (the top layer always seems to want to stick together with the underneath layers). I dry some of the excess water out of it with a blow dryer set on the lowest setting while scrunching it to encourage the curls, but I never dry it all the way dry. I let it air dry the rest of the way.

How do you style your naturally curly hair ?

In the evening, I put a little Potion 9 in it and let it air dry until I am ready for bed. I only brush it before I wash it - any other time I just finger comb it. The more I fuss with it the more it frizzes.

Sometimes I spritz a little water on it in the morning if my curls dried uneven. Frizz serums dry out my hair.

How should i style my wet curly hair that gets puffy?

What i do is comb it through with a strong, but fine toothed comb AFTER conditioning it. I then I use 3 squirts of this stuff:

http://tigihaircare.us/tigi/catwalk/arch...

(Without a comb.... I just rub it around on my hands and then spread it all the way through my hair... beneath and on top. It's hard to show you exactly what i do. but make sure you get it all the way to the tips.

Oh...

I only wash it once a week...But when I do I use the shampoo on this page...

http://redken.com/products/displayBrand....

I use the 'butter treat' cream every day in place of a conditioner. It works the same, does the same thing, but is thicker and better for curls.

When i'm done with that, I put in a headband (thick, hard) sort of like these, except much less expensive:

http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/category.jh...

And then i fluff it up along the sides a little,

Leaving the front portion of my hair out like bangs. :)

Oh I guess i part it on the side, aswell... I know that sounds crazy... Youd think it poof up alot, but it doesn't. I always get compliments on how controlled my hair looks for tight greek or african - like curls.

Anyway...

GOOOD LUCK!

How should i style my wet curly hair that gets puffy?

use loads of serum, cant think of much else cause i havent got hair like that

How should i style my wet curly hair that gets puffy?

well if u have the curls i had (b4 i got a perm) then i have a great way to make ur curls look great. when u take a shower dont use shampoo that often. put a bunch of conditioner in a big brush not bristle nd brush ur hair. try not to wash it all out. then after use a good styling mousse in the brush and brush ur hair.

How should i style my wet curly hair that gets puffy?

After washing, towel dry, comb through with a big comb, then work in a thick conditioner like Cantu's Shea Butter line from root to ends. More is better, don't wash it out. Be sure to comb through to place curls, do not brush or comb after that. Let is dry naturally. Add a little serum or shine. To freshen, just spray with a little water mixed with conditioner (diluted conditioner).

Curly hair????

i have curls like so twisted and they look great but my hair doesn't look good with any style i comb it and comb it and noting seems to work i just need tips of what styles look great on curly hair hellp!!1

Curly hair????

I also have curly hair, and I love it. It took me a long time to figure out how to deal with it, but now it's great. Here's what I learned:

1) Wash and CONDITION. Your shampoo and conditioner should preferably be an anti-frizz or hydrating formula.

2) Use leave-in conditioner then dry with a diffuser. You shouldn't need any other products that weigh down the curls if you use a good leave-in conditioner.

Now, you asked about styles. Here's a few...

1) Do a side part, then pin some flowers in your hair. (Your) Left side means you're taken, right side means you're single.

2) Starting at the front, loosely twist the curls into a sort of fish braid, one on each side. You can take the two sides and go all the way down to make pigtails, or you can only go halfway and pin the ends to the back of your head.

3) After your curls are all dry, pull them all, except a few to frame your face, to the back of your head, about halfway down. Twist it a tiny bit and make a sort of flippy bun. You can stick some hair sticks of pencils in there to accent it if you wish.

Curly hair????

just hanging down

Curly hair????

I have EXTREMELY curly hair and I can put it in any style. Here's the trick: go get yourself some frizz ease. I use the pump. Put it on towel dried hair. Then, using a round brush, blow dry your hair. I find that with my thick hair I have to section my hair off while drying it. That helps control the frizz too. As long as you do all of that you should be good to go. Hope that helps!

Curly hair????

You could try pinning some curls back with bobby pins. You could also try wearing your hair up in a loose summery pony-tail and have some loose ends hanging down. Just leaving your hair down should be beautiful too! Experiment :)

Curly hair????

You know I had the same problem as you. My mom told me about a hair treatment called Japanese hair straightening. This permanently straightens your hair but it does not damage you hair like a straight perm does. After i got it done, i realized that is was the best thing that's ever happened to me. I was able to try many different styles and haircuts.. i love it

Curly hair????

Brushing it will just make it frizzier. When you get out of the shower put a product like "curls up" in your hair, scrunch it and let it air dry. Or do a "poof" on top of your head. Just blow dry the section that you want to do a poof with ( in the direction you want your hair to go!) and use a lot of hair spray to give it volume. then let the rest of your hair just fall around it. This can be a casual or glamorous look.

Im going to a wedding and i need tips and on how to do my hair,i have curly hair and i want straight

I have extreme curly hair and its very frizzy and i want to put it down, but every time i try to staighten it it last for a couple of hours and then goes poofyt i bought this straight and sleek creme from fructis garnier and i own a chi flat iron, but i dont noe how to style my hair to make it look nice for a wedding but also non-frizzy/curly

Im going to a wedding and i need tips and on how to do my hair,i have curly hair and i want straight styles.?

well since your going to a wedding how about u go to a salon and do your hair...

Im going to a wedding and i need tips and on how to do my hair,i have curly hair and i want straight styles.?

ohhhh thats quite easy iha.jaz look on the direction.but mostly, try to apply in your hair with frequent brushing or combing it.do it for at least 30 mins to 1 hour.then use conditioner when you take a bath.

Im going to a wedding and i need tips and on how to do my hair,i have curly hair and i want straight styles.?

You should use Herbal Essences Straightening Shampoo and Conditioner. Blow Dry your hair with a round brush and keep it straight =) Afterwards, straighten your hair and put some straightening cream and some hairspray if you want to keep it in a certain hairdo in your hair. =) that should help a lot

Im going to a wedding and i need tips and on how to do my hair,i have curly hair and i want straight styles.?

i too have curly hair. I put mouse in it while it's wet. Blow dry it completely and then take a curling iron and flip the ends up or you can do the ends under but i think it looks cute flipped up.

How do I style shoulder length curly hair?

How can I wear a headband or pull off a clip with a poof/bump? Its thick and tends to get frizzy!

How do I style shoulder length curly hair?

i have curly hair too, i use herbal essences frizzness, and it makes your curls bouncy and silky, and easier to brush. So it is easier to style ur hair.

How do I style shoulder length curly hair?

Frizz control hair products..

ever tried a flat iron? :o)

I have naturally wavy hair... I like the change sometimes. Seems more managable too.

How do I style shoulder length curly hair?

get a medium hold gel, when your hair is wet put the gel all over, buy a diffuser for the end of your blowdryer, to finalize i personally love the aussie sprunch spray. After that you'll be able to manage it better so you won't even have to wear a clip or headband unless for fashion purposes.

How do I style shoulder length curly hair?

Forget the headband its not gonna happen. At least not untill your hair gets longer. Always style your hair when its wet. I have the best luck combing with a very wide tooth comb when wet, add a little no frizz gel get your hair in the clip while still wet and DONT comb it again. It works for me!
