I have normal african american male hair, and all i'm looking for is a something that will make my hair permantley straight AND soft. I know as my hair grows, it'll grow nappy but I need methods (home methods) that I can do to make it straight and soft so I can spike it, and have options of hairstyles with it, if possible are there any products or methods I could use to get the "loose curly hair style" like you see mixed or even white people with? Instead of super tight curly hair like now.
PS don't get me wrong I love my hair, it's just time for a change I think.
I want my hair to be able to get "wet" when i take showers and stuff like that

go to a salon and get it permanently straightened and if it's still a little wavy use herbal essences pin straight (pink bottle) shampoo and straighten it!!
