How should i style my wet curly hair that gets puffy?

What i do is comb it through with a strong, but fine toothed comb AFTER conditioning it. I then I use 3 squirts of this stuff:

(Without a comb.... I just rub it around on my hands and then spread it all the way through my hair... beneath and on top. It's hard to show you exactly what i do. but make sure you get it all the way to the tips.

Oh...

I only wash it once a week...But when I do I use the shampoo on this page...

I use the 'butter treat' cream every day in place of a conditioner. It works the same, does the same thing, but is thicker and better for curls.

When i'm done with that, I put in a headband (thick, hard) sort of like these, except much less expensive:

And then i fluff it up along the sides a little,

Leaving the front portion of my hair out like bangs. :)

Oh I guess i part it on the side, aswell... I know that sounds crazy... Youd think it poof up alot, but it doesn't. I always get compliments on how controlled my hair looks for tight greek or african - like curls.

well if u have the curls i had (b4 i got a perm) then i have a great way to make ur curls look great. when u take a shower dont use shampoo that often. put a bunch of conditioner in a big brush not bristle nd brush ur hair. try not to wash it all out. then after use a good styling mousse in the brush and brush ur hair.

After washing, towel dry, comb through with a big comb, then work in a thick conditioner like Cantu's Shea Butter line from root to ends. More is better, don't wash it out. Be sure to comb through to place curls, do not brush or comb after that. Let is dry naturally. Add a little serum or shine. To freshen, just spray with a little water mixed with conditioner (diluted conditioner).
