If you want them, go for it. Just keep in mind that the shorter your hair is cut the more curl it will have. Try getting them cut longer that way if they aren't what you want, you can always style them different or let them grow out.

If you cut it realize that the curl will be stronger. Do not cut shorter than the length when you pull to your nose then you will need large rollers or roll brush to keep straight and spray them good.

Yeah I think that would look really good just get a hair straightner to straighten the bangs with. Or blow them straight with a blow dryer.
