What shampoos/conditioners do you recommend for slightly curly hair?

My hair is thick and slightly curly/wavy.

Usually its slightly straight but very frizzy and kind of wavy... hair that just doesn't look right without straightening. Most days the waves aren't curly enough to look good without styling, but occassionally my hair is really curly so I apply a little gel to keep frizz down.

I would really like to find a shampoo and conditioner that will either make my hair curly enough to not straighten everyday or straighter (so I can wear plain or a little bit of touch up with a straightener.)

yeah, sunsilk is good, and it smells muy bueno...and uhm Aussie, I am half black half white and my hair is like what you explained but super duperee frizz...and I leave the conditioner in not wash it out, it makes ur hair greasy if you dont wash it out and redo it the next day, so I dont know, that's just what works for me, Aussie is good but expensive.

don't ever use herbal essance or however you spell it - for any reason.. the main ingredient is wax and it will just weigh down your hair and damage it. I suggest any products on the Redken line for curly hair. Go to a salon and speak w/ a specialist. Another really good line - if you color treat your hair - is purology.. they have specialized products for all hair textures. check em out! I know this wasn't really too specific but i don't have all the products memorized, i'm just suggesting anything by the two lines because they do formulate to your hair type! and Redken is awesome!
